Tonight, Friday 21st October, from 8pm until 11.30pm. I will be playing with the boys for their twice monthly rock ‘n’ roll dance at Osborne Bowling Club. Really looking forward to playing piano with these great musicians.

If you’re a Swing Dancer, come along to the Yugal club, 228 Oxford St, Leederville, for their monthly dance on Thursday, 18th August, from 9 till 11pm. I’ll be playing piano there with a great 7 piece swing band, which includes the leader, Steven Mitchell, a great Jazz and Blues singer from the USA. Awesome music. Great for listening, even if you are not a dancer.

If you want a regular venue to catch me at, come along to the Ballajura Tavern, 322 Alexander Dr, Ballajura, on the 3rd Saturday of every month. I play and sing everything from Jazz, Country, Blues, Old Standards, and Rock, and even throw in the odd Classical number, if requested. It’s always a fun night, so come along and join us. If you are like me, and love food, make sure you check out the wonderful New Orleans dishes on the menu. For the winter months, I’m there from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.

Perth lost a top musician, and I lost my awesome saxophone player and friend, Jim Cook, when he passed away in June. Jim was loved by all who knew him and his wonderful music. Jim was a huge part of jazz, and other music,  in Perth. He is sadly missed, as is his music, and the Jazz Club is remembering our special friend on Tuesday night, August 9th, with a special night to raise funds for cancer research.  There will be continuous jazz performed by a number of bands from 7.30 until 11pm. Admission is $15. Please come along and support this worthy cause. I will be just one of many many musicians performing on the night.

I’m looking forward to returning to the Perth Town Hall with my Milton Q Sing Along Show, on Tuesday, August 9th, for the City of Perth  FREE Tuesday Morning Concert. It will be from 11am until noon. They have a brand new grand piano, so I am looking forward to playing it. Hope to see you there.

I am looking forward to performing again at Castledare Retirement Village in Wilson, on 23rd of February. It starts at 10am. See you there.

I am looking forward to returning to Mandurah Seniors on February 1st. The concert is from 1.30 until 3pm. Bring along your friends and sing along to all your favourite old songs. It is at 41 Ormsby Tce.

It was great to see everyone at St Ives, in Kallaroo again. We had a fun time and you once again proved that you have some of the best singers I have come across. It was nice to see your beautiful venue restored to it’s former glory, after the March storm damage you were experiencing last time I was there.

I will be back in Mandurah on February 1st, with my Milton Q. Sing Along Show, from 1.30 until 3pm, opening the 2011 season of  Seniors Concerts at the Senior Centre on Ormsby Tce. Hope to see you there.
